Tokenomics revisit

This page revisits the tokenomics of HEI

HEI token is the native cryptocurrency of the Heima network and is issued by the Heima Foundation. Heima tokens HEI would be the driving force in the circulation in the DID ecosystem. HEI is currently issued as ERC-20 token and BEP-20 token. The Binance project research about Heima describes the HEI tokenomics and allocation.

We'd like to revisit the HEI tokenomics:

  • Heima's economic model and initial supply will be retained (100,000,000 HEI).

  • Heima plans to burn a portion of ERC-20 HEI and issue the same amount of native HEI on the parachain to keep the initial supply unchanged.

  • Heima will launch a token bridge between ERC-20 HEI and Heima HEI. ERC-20 HEI holders can decide whether to migrate tokens to Heima or not.

  • The migration ratios shall be 1 ERC-20 HEI = 1 Heima HEI.
